Beech Hill School was located on Anthony Branch Road on a prominent hill. (The p
roperty is now owned by Jay Brinkley.) The land was originally donated by Haskel Shofner for the school. It would serve the community between Thompson Creek and Willow Grove School on Shipman’s Creek.Miss Gertie Ferguson is the teacher.
Claude D. Roberts was born on January 01, 1889, in Raus, Bedford County, Tennessee.
Roy Edwin Roberts was born on September 06, 1890, in Raus, Bedford County, Tennessee.
