Additional Information: Before WWII, two of her sons (Henry and Raymond Pearson) built a wood mahogany power boat in the family basement. Once completed, they found out the boat wouldn't fit through the basement doors. So her husband removed the basement window with some of the surrounding bricks. On the bottom left corner of this photograph you can see the new bricks placed around the basement window.
