Photograph of Frederick "Fred Knobloch, Louis Leber, and unknowns.

Date: 1910-1925

Location: Illinois

Photograph Number: 0303

Additional Information:

The below photo was found in a beautiful old photo album that belonged to the Mosbacher family of Columbia, Illinois. It was initially assumed the people were all somehow related to the family of Anton and Margaret Mosbacher.

However, it's my opinion the man on the far left sitting down in this photo is Frederick "Fred Knobloch. Also, it's my opinion the man in the very front sitting down is Louis Leber. The two of them are related, for the daughter of Louis Leber married the son of Frederick "Fred Knobloch.

Frederick "Fred: Knobloch owned the tavern in Maeystown Station, Maeystown, Monroe County, Illinois. Therefore, it's possible this photograph might of been taken outside the tavern, and may include their local customers.

Please click here if you can identify anyone else in this photograph.
