Age 84 of Donelson. December 13, 2006. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Frances Gosnell. Survived by sons, Donald Paul (Katie) Gosnell, David Rex (Mary) Gosnell and Douglas Wayne (Janice) Gosnell; grandchildren, Andrew, Robert, Patrick, Jonathan, Christopher and Lauren Gosnell, Sandra Hoggard and Jennifer Bjers; 3 great-grandchildren, Jasmyne Gosnell, Stephen Hoggard and Alexa Hoggard; sisters, Fuchia DeBruhl and Lillian Buckner, and close friend, Wilma McNutt. The service will be held Saturday, December 16th at 10 a.m., in the chapel of Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, with Bro. Bill Watkins and Rev. Jack Barron officiating. Grandsons and family will serve as Pallbearers. Burial will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation Friday, December 15th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.. Donations may be made to the Church of Christ Disaster Relief, Inc., 410 Allied Drive, Nashville, TN 37211; 833-0888. NOTE: The above obituary is incorrect, for Paul Rex Gosnell didn't have three great-grandchildren. For at the time of his death, Jasmyne Gosnell is the only great-grandchild of Paul Rex Gosnell. Stephen Hoggard and Alexa Hoggard are not related to Paul Rex Gosnell, for they belong to the second wife his son David Rex Gosnell married.
