Title: Mrs. Sadie Eck Dies; Rites Are Here Saturday.

Mrs. Sarah Victoria "Sadie" Eck, 89, formerly of 206 Vine Street, Pana died at 7:30 a.m., today, Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Pana Nursing Home where she had been a patient since November of 1970.

She was born in Christian County on Aug. 26, 1883, her parents being the late Frank Beyers and Minna Gudehus Beyers. She was twice married, first to Frank Lehn, who died in 1931. Later she married to John Eck, who died in 1953.

Surviving are 2 sons, Harold Lehn and Paul Lehn, both of Pana; step-children, Cletus Eck of Pana, Mrs. Loretta Diss of Tower Hill and Mrs. Mildred Swim of Decatur; two brothers, Raymond Beyers of Decatur and Lawrence Beyers of Pana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, with Father Bernard H. La Bonte officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call at the D. J. Kennedy & Sons Memorial Home after 3:00 p.m., Friday. The rosary will be that evening at 6:30.
