Title: Fred D. Zimmer

Fred D. Zimmer, of near Doe Run, passed away at the Bonne Terre Hospital on Tuesday where he was taken last week-end, suffering with a heart attack, aged 77 years, 1 month and 5 days.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Doe Run Methodist Church at two o'clock this Friday afternoon by the pastor, Rev. J. Wesley Thomas. Interment will be at the German Church Cemetery near Doe Run, with Miller Service.

The deceased was born near Doe Run, on April 28, 1870, son of Joseph and Caroline Keeling Zimmer. On June 6, 1897, he was united in marriage to Mary Hennrich, who survives him, Four children were born to their union. One daughter, Frieda (Mrs. Terry) Chandler, preceded her father in death. Surviving are Lydia (Mrs. Louis) Hertz, of St. Louis; Alma (Mrs. Andrew) Ruh, od Detroit, Mich., and Freeman, at home, also four grandchildren; four sisters, Mary (Mrs. Fred) Hennrich, of near Doe Run, Clara (Mrs. Henry) Westmeyer, of Farmington; Katie (Mrs. P. P.) Gruner, of Flat River, and Mrs. Rose Fleming, of Doe Run, also one brother, J. L. Zimmer, of St. Louis.

Mr. Zimmer had been a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. He was one of the county's most substantial citizens.
