Title: John T. Hubbard

John T. Hubbard of Farmington (St. Francois county) was a son of the late William Riley Hubbard and Mary Jane Dix Hubbard. He was born March 31,1879 in Bonne Terre and passed away at Medicalodge Nursing Home, August 15,1973 at the age of 94 years.

He was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Scaggs and to this union ten children were born; eight survives. His wife and 2 children, Joyce (Mrs. Marion) Hill and Grace (Mrs. Edgar) Matthews preceded him in death.

He is survived by: Bessie (Mrs. Irvin ) McCutcheon of Fort Smith, Ark; Mary (Mrs. Henry) Wines, Nellie (Mrs. Lawrence) Hunt Jr., both of Farmington; Velma (Mrs. Emery) Harvey, St. Louis ; William T. Hubbard of Farmington; John L. Hubbard of Flat River; Robert L. Hubbard, Heber Springs, Ark., and Edgar Hubbard of Fenton, MO; thirty grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, an niece and three nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, 1973 at 2 p.m., at Cozean Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harold Mobley officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Additional Note: John T. Hubbard received a disability pension from the railroad.
