Title: Mary Anne Kollmeyer

Mrs. Mary Kollmeyer, nee Neidert, daughter of the late Ernest and Eva Dinger Neidert, was born March 15, 1852, on a farm near Doe Run, Missouri. A short while later she was baptized into the Lutheran Church with Mr. and Mrs. Bixon [Dixon ?] as sponsors. In 1868 she was confirmed in this faith by the Rev. Kleiniges, at Pilot Knob. To this faith she remained true to the end.

On October 11, 1878, she was united in marriage to Henry Kollmeyer, with pastor U. Iben performing the ceremony. To this union were born three children: Ernest, Ahledia and Lourine. Ernest died at the age of two and a half years and the husband passed away on July 3, 1904.

Mrs. Kollmeyer became a member of the Lutheran Church in Farmington in its infancy and was for many years an active member of the Ladies Aid. She passed away quietly at her home on Friday night, August 23, 1940, having reached the advanced age of 88 years 5 months 8 days.

Besides her two daughters, Mrs. A. E. Wease of Desoto and Miss Ahledia Kollmeyer of Farmington, she is survived by a granddaughter, Miss Betty Wease of DeSoto, other relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Luthern Church, conducted by her pastor, the Rev. E. C. Pardick. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Neidert Funeral Service.
