Frank Christopher Kollmeyer, 86, of Farmington died at his home Sept. 19 (1984). He was born July 6, 1869 in Farmington to the late John J. and Elizabeth Best Kollmeyer. He was preceded in death by one son, Melvin Kollmeyer; four sisters and one brother.

Mr. Kollmeyer was president for many years of the Federal Land Bank Association, a charter member of the Lutheran Men's Club and he served 12 years on the board of directors of the Federal Land Bank. He was a member of the St. Francois County Fair Board for 50 years, a school board member of the Busiek School and St. Paul Lutheran School, and a member of the American Angus Association for 50 years. He was chairman of the local branch of the Farm and Home Administration for three years.

He is survived by his wife, Willa Marie Griffin Kollmeyer of Farmington; one son, Vernon Kollmeyer of Farmington; one sister, Maybe (Mrs. Barney) Griffin of Farmington; two brothers: Raymond Kollmeyer and Fred Kollmeyer, both of Farmington; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two daughter-in-law and Mrs. Marilyn Stolz of Naples, Fla., who was raised in his home.

Friends may call 6 p.m. today at the Miller Funeral Home. Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Merlen Wegener officiating, assisted by Vicar Dennis Lucero. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.

If desired, memorials may be made to the KREI Lutheran Broadcast or the Lutheran Cemetery Fund.
