Nollis Chatman, Elvins, 71, died April 25 (1983) in Mineral Area Osteopathic Hospital in Farmington.

He was born on March 31, 1912 in Farmington to the late John and Martha Scaggs Chatman.

Mr. Chatman is survived by his wife, Ruth Chatman, Elvins; five sons: John Chatman, Florida; Gary Chatman, Colorado; David Chatman, Michigan; Jeffrey Chatman, Illinois and Timothy Chatman, Elvins; four daughters: Sharon Strange, Elvins; Nola Covell, Washington, Ange-La Sutherland, Elvins, and Jessie Williams, Farmington; one brother, Otto Chatman, Farmington; three sisters: Mary Wilkerson, Farmington; Mildred Reed, Arizona and Jackie Boevingloh, St. Charles, 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Chatman was a member of the Frankclay Nazarene Church.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. tonight at Bert Boyer Funeral Home in Leadwood.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Frankclay Nazarene Church, with Rev. Don Wells officiating. Burial will be in Hillview Cemetery.
