Title: Mrs. J. J. Westover 97 Passed Away Here Tuesday

Mrs. J. J. Westover passed away at her home in Farmington on Tuesday Dec. 2, 1958 at the age of ninety-seven years, seven moths and sixteen day.

Martha Virginia Miller was born in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the daughter of the late Benjamin and Amanda Poe Miller on March 15, 1861. She received her education at the State College in Cape Girardeau, and at the Caledonia Institute, Caledonia, Mo. While there she met John Jordan Westover, whom she married on October 21, 1880.

She is survived by one son, Paul B. Westover, and five daughters: Mrs. Mable Williams, Miss Laura Westover, and Georgia (Mrs. H. Nelson) McCall, al of Farmington; and Miss Anne Westover and Ellen (Mrs. Dunham B.) Dodge of St. Louis; also twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Mr. Westover on Nov. 8, 1939; two sons, Maurice F. and Raymond M. and two infant children.

Funeral services were held yesterday (Thursday) at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Methodist Church of which she was a member, by the Rev. Joseph H. Jones, pastor of the church. Burial was in Parkview Cemetery with Miller Service.
