Title: J. T. Westover

Lauretta Ollie Shaner, daughter of the late William and Lucinda Shaner, was born near Elvins, Mo., November 11, 1850, and passed away Wednesday morning, December 21 1932, at her home in Cantwell, aged 82 years, 1 month and 10 days.

She has been in failing health for some time but her condition did not become serious until Sunday when she suffered a paralytic stroke. This resulted in her death early Wednesday morning.

On August 13, 1861, she was united in marriage to Jobe Turley Westover who survives her. She is survived also by three daughters; Mrs. John Cunningham, of Route Four, Farmington; Mrs. Edna Merritt, at home; Mrs. Joyce Aubuchon, of St. Louis; a son, James, of Farmington; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She also leaves one brother, R. H. Shaner, of Pasadena, Calf., and one sister, Miss Laura Shaner, of Desloge.

Early in life she professed her faith in Christianity and became a member of the Methodist Church of which she was a true and faithful member at the time of her death. She had spent her lifetime in this community and was known and lived by a host of friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be conducted this morning at eleven o'clock at Russell Chapel, by Rev. C. D. Thomasson. Interment will be in Parkview cemetery with Boyer Funeral Service in charge.

The news joins in extending sympathy to the bereaved family and friends.
