Title: Four In One Family Dead; Two More Seriously Ill.

The sadest occurence we have heard of for quite awhile, happened the past week. The family of John Westover, who resides on a farm about four miles east of this city, have all been stricken with influenza which developed into pneumonia and for a week have been helpless.

On Tuesday, their oldest child, nine years old, passed away, on Wednesday evening about 7:30 the father died and on Thursday morning the mother and another child, six years old passed away. We understand that two more of the children are in critical condition and are not expected to live. The smallest child, about two years old has been in a very critical condition but it is thought that it will recover.

Mr. Westover was a prosperous young farmer and the entire community was shocked to hear of this extremely sad news. Mrs. Westover was before marriage, Iva Thurman, her parents now living in Colorado.

The bodies have been removed from the Westover farm to the home of Lee Fatchet at Flat River.

No arrangements for the funerals have been made up to this time, as they are waiting the outcome of the two children that lie at deaths door.
