Research Notes:
The date of death with his age listed on the grave marker would make Martin (Sr.) Eck born on March 30, 1810. However, it's strongly believed he was born on March 29, 1810. Apparently, they thought March was 30 days long, but it contains 31 days.
Martin (Sr.) Eck was born in Rosheim, Alsace - Lorraine, Prussia. This was part of the former German Empire, and is now Rosheim, Alsace - Lorraine, France.
